Levereging University Resources to Achieve High Impact

Saturday morning rolled up after a crazy first day of the 2008 Net Impact - The Sustainable Advantage conference. I felt strange going to the Wharton school knowing that I'd be a panelist while still being a senior when 2300 of the 2400 people at the conference were MBA students. Regardless of my youth, I was very excited to be in a position where I could share the lessons I've learned while being a student leader in Nourish International. The question though was: is my experience relevant to th… Continue

Net-Impact Conference career expo

I finally had some time to wind down after the conference in Philly. It is definitely a little crazy to spend take 4 days off of school 2 weeks before finals, but it was totally worth it! I ended up spending a good couple of hours at the career expo that Net-Impact (Wharton) had organized. The room was huge, but the crowd was massive. I was very happy to see such interest in jobs that have potential for positive social impact. It is truly a new world we are living in, and it is very exciting!… Continue

If you're an organization interested in potentially partnering with Nourish International, please visit our… Continue

The doors that open: Net-Impact in Philly and options for the future

I arrived an hour or two ago in Philly after carpooling with 3 MBA students (Ariyah, Ravi and Susanna) for 7 hours from Chapel Hill. The drive conversation went from sustainability and paradigm shifts needed in the business world to bring about the change that our generation and this world longs for, to mash-up music, pumpkin muffin tops and the MBA program at Kenan Flagler in UNC. Now I am at in a beautiful home reminiscent of southern hospitality. The welcome is… Continue
