From Hilary:
On the Monday of our last week, we spent a lot of time and shillings at African village. We had a slumber party at the mansion, watching a pirated Dark Knight after eating homemade samosas, which were delicious. We missed being a Naama Millenium a lot and Margaret told us that everyone could really feel the gap at school. On Tuesday, some of the girls got their hair did, we briefly perused Garden City, and took Casino Simba by storm that evening. A few champions made it to Al's Bar where the local clientele were less than wholesome. Wednesday was our last full day in Uganda, which was spent getting massages, and packing two months worth of 'knick-knacks and tchatchkes' and whatever we didn't leave at the school. That night we had a pizza party sponsored by Robinah Rebecca and played Kings and "truth or truth" followed by a half slumber party. We loaded up the car on Thursday, Glen flipped out because he realized we were leaving, we gave RobReb parting gifts for her hospitality, and took pictures in front of the mansion. While we waited in line at the airport, Dillon met Wyclef Jean (jealous!). Then we flew home from Addis Ababa to Dubai to JFK, eating delicious Emirates food and watching movies. In short, Uganda was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back in graduate school! If you have the chance to do this program, I absolutely recommend going; it was probably the best thing I've done with my life so far. I miss Naama Millenium daily and still keep in touch with our African Entourage (friends/teachers).
