Nourish International has an incredibly exciting mission. Working with motivated organizations (both on campuses and in developing communities) means a fast paced work environment requiring unique solutions at almost every turn.
However, there’s one organization we’re forced to work with that doesn’t exactly move at our pace. You guessed it, the IRS.
As I mentioned in our last post, Nourish International is expanding, which means adding more people to our team. Summary
The Chapter Network is the engine for the growth and success of Nourish. Students from our chapter are responsible for funding, designing and implementing our projects (in conjunction with our partners). By 2009, this network will generate over $200,000 in revenue and manage close to twenty yearly partnerships.
To accomplish this we are creating a Chapter Coordinator position at our National Office to facilitate and accelerate chapter growth. This position offers the opportunity for an individual with superior communication, organization, relationship-building and management skills to play a crucial role in ensuring the long-term success of our movement.
Nourish seeks individuals of all ethnic and racial backgrounds to apply for the position.

Last week, a good friend of ours named Saul Braxton completed an amazing video about Nourish International. It clocks in at just over 7 minutes and it’s really quite entertaining. The video covers our history as an organization, our mission and philosophy, and some great examples of recent work that our members have done–both on campus and around the world.
