Nourish International is seeking interns for its Fall internship program. Interns will work closely with full-time Nourish staff to expand and perfect Nourish's model.

Anyone with a high school degree is eligible to apply. To apply, send a resume and cover letter to info@nourishinternational.org by September 5th. Be sure to mention the position for which you are applying. Internships are volunteer experiences.

Nourish Fellows Pilot

Commitment: 10 hours a week
Skills needed: Excellent communication and problem solving skills and an understanding of community development
Description: As a part of our mission to eradicate poverty by engaging students and empowering communities, we want to explore ways to work with students from foreign countries. The volunteer will pilot a program with a foreign university student to support operations in that country. The pilot’s purpose is to explore the feasibility of a large scale Nourish Fellowship program.
Positions available: 1

Project-Partner Analyst

Commitment: 10 hours a week
Skills needed: Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and an understanding of community development. Language skills are a plus.
Description: Project-Partner Analysts manage relationships with potential partners in our project-partner database. They communicate directly with community based organizations around the globe and determine which projects and partners should remain active in the database.

Fundraising Assistant

Commitment: 10 hours a week
Skills needed: Excellent communication skills
Description: The volunteer will work side-by-side with Nourish staff and board members to maintain and expand our donor base as we fund our 2008-9 budget and expansion.

Founders Program Coordinator

Commitment: 10 hours a week
Skills needed: analytical skills, ability to work with and manage others
Description: The volunteer will help pave the way for Nourish’s 2009 Chapter Founders Program and expansion by researching potential schools for expansion. As the fall progresses, the volunteer will manage the Founders Program Analyst in researching the best people to talk to at each school.

Chapter Performance Analyst

Commitment: 5 hours a week (fall); 10 hours a week (spring)
Skills needed: Strong analytical skills, experience with regression analysis
Description: will design and research Nourish chapter performance for the 2008-9 school year.

Founders Program Analysts

Commitment: 5 hours a week
Skills needed: Strong analytical skills, ability to work with others
Description: Founders Program Analysts will assist the Founders Program Coordinator in detailing potential schools for expansion.

Institute ‘09

Commitment: 10 hours a week
Skills needed: Strong organizational and communication skills
Description: The Institute ’09 Volunteer will begin preliminary planning for the 2009 Summer Institute, such as booking space and reserving speakers.

Travel Scholarship Research

Commitment: 10 hours a week
Skills needed: Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Description: Volunteer will research potential sources for Nourish students to receive need-based travel funding for Summer Projects/Institute.
