As I mentioned in our last post, Nourish International is expanding, which means adding more people to our team. Summary
The Chapter Network is the engine for the growth and success of Nourish. Students from our chapter are responsible for funding, designing and implementing our projects (in conjunction with our partners). By 2009, this network will generate over $200,000 in revenue and manage close to twenty yearly partnerships.
To accomplish this we are creating a Chapter Coordinator position at our National Office to facilitate and accelerate chapter growth. This position offers the opportunity for an individual with superior communication, organization, relationship-building and management skills to play a crucial role in ensuring the long-term success of our movement.
Nourish seeks individuals of all ethnic and racial backgrounds to apply for the position.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Help students recruit members, organize leadership as they start up their chapters.
- Help students optimize ventures and identify successful partnerships with developing communities.
- Maintain communication between the network and the National Office.
Education and Experience
- Undergraduate college degree within the last two years (graduate in 2006, 2007 or 2008)
- Previous leadership experience, preferably with an undergraduate student organization
- Previous international service experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Highly motivated, results-oriented individual who excels in an entrepreneurial environment
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with a variety of constituents
- Exceptional communicator with external and internal audiences
- Strong organizational and operational skills

Compensation
$24,000 a year
