Tatiana Brezina “I DIG HOLES”
The German keeps giving me longing looks and I’m kind of freaked out. What is he doing here? We have not spoken a single word to each other. He is very interested in my hole digging, he admires my skills.
My name is Dustin Van Kruegelhouser-Schnidesenkingle. I am from Dinkelsbühl. Though not as grand as the more celebrated Rothenburg, it has far fewer tourists and therefore retains more old-time charm. No one knows this, but my true passion is the ballet. My favorite pastimes include, eating sauerkraut with frankfurters, checking out German babes that I can never have and I miss my pet ferret. My life goal is playing guitar. I feel so alone here. When I first started out, I had no friends-for I cannot speak English or Spanish. But I think I’m making friends. The redhead notices me. Her German-like descent is attractive, she might be Polish? She likes me and she happens to be the most skilled digger of them all, I like this. I have lived the sheltered life. I fear for my health—for this I sleep under a mosquito net. I hope to help the children and make the redhead my wife. Para todes Mexicans como cual leer el page aquii en blog—podes llamarme en ceular.
Erin Erwin- aka Andrea
So I’m Erin and I’m unfortunately stuck here in Mexico with people like Josh (see below). I have many aspirations while I am here, like destroying Tati at soccer and teaching Josh how to play the guitar. Her “cleats” are no match for my skills. As lame as she is, she is a really great escavadora. I have two refined skills that come in handy for this trip, they include eating and attempting to speak espanol. I would really like to improve my spanish, but above all I’m really excited about teaching in el Gusano. So obviously this wasn’t all serious, but I’m super pumped about this trip, I’ll keep you posted on the destruction on the soccer field between Tati and I. As for the rest of this, you can all send me care packages to el Gusano, preferably chocolates and TP and a shovel (I may not need this, Tati is THAT good).
PS. There is strange German on our trip. I have no clue what he’ saying- He doesn’t speak English or Spanish. He cannot communicate with others, he was a pointless addition to our team. If you wish to understand his blog, use freetranslation.

Hola amigos, I´m Josh. I´m a rising senior with aspirations of graduating with a degree in Psychology and Spanish. I´ve never been to Mexico before, but I did spend a semester in Sevilla, Spain so I speak a little Spanish, but I´m hoping to improve a lot while here. I´m twenty years old, but luckily I turn 21 soon after my return. I´m thinking about maybe going to law school one day, but as Tati said, don´t hold me to it.
I had a German in my fraternity once. I think we could become friends.
Peace
Sandra Hinderliter- El Mexicano
I’m Sandra, resident Mexican/Hispanic, 5′1. Although I’m kind of a German and I speak 2000 lenguas. I also hablo dat Chinese hombre. I miss home a little, which is weird because I’m a global child and I’ve lived everywhere–but I have this raggedy doll that I console myself with. Its name is Brandon. I cut my hair short, I’m a wannabe Dora. I love smiling, Brandon and everything PINK! In fact my room is all furry pink. I am one of the fine leaders of this expedition and I, contrary to Tati– am a horrible digger. I plan on leaving my mark (visibly) all over their backyard. I am a rising Senior. I am majoring in International Studies with a focus in Transnational Culture (which means I’m studying everything I’ve done my entire life). So what do I enjoy? Long walks on the beach with my raggedy doll, notebooks and hablo-ing that Spanish and eating like Erin. I happen to also be a terrible driver, which is an imperative detail for this blog. ¡Viva los Mexicanos y Yo”
ps i love my mommy
P.S.S FYI There is a hot German here.
